• Lower McAlpine, McMullen Creek and Four Mile Creek Greenway
This is a 5.8 mile horseshoe paved, graveled and boardwalk greenway. Here you will notice many people (with their families and friends) walking, running, and bicycling. The entrance and parking facilities to this greenway is located at 5803 Bevington Place (Four Mile Creek Greenway which is across from the Shops at Piper Glen) , 11823 Johnston Road (the McAlpine Creek Greenway Parking and Rest Area) and 8135 Pineville-Matthews Rd. (McMullen Creek Greenway).

This 107 acre park has walking trails, a Davie Dog Park, 4 softballs fields , 2 soccer fields, volleyball court, 2 horseshoe pits, and indoor and outdoor picnic shelters. These areas can be reserved.
In addition, there is a Wiiliam R. Davie Conference Center, which is an indoor community hall that can be reserved for events.
